David Auerbach
Head of Real Estate Capital Markets
David Auerbach is Group Head of Real Estate Capital Markets at Zions Bancorporation, where he leads the bank's real estate capital markets strategy, origination, securitization, and distribution activities. Since joining Zions in 2021, he has established and scaled the bank's CMBS conduit platform while expanding its commercial real estate product offerings to include Fannie Mae DUS® and Freddie Mac Optigo® multifamily lending
Prior to joining Zions, David was a founding member of Starwood Mortgage Capital, where he helped establish the CMBS origination platform that became a core business of Starwood Property Trust (NYSE: STWD). He previously held senior real estate finance and capital markets roles at KeyBank Capital Markets, Deutsche Bank, and Wachovia Securities.
David has more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate finance and capital markets and holds an MBA from the University of Miami and a B.B.A. from Florida International University.
