Tony Bedikian
Managing Director, Head of Sales & Trading
Tony Bedikian is the Managing Director and Head of Sales & Trading at Zions Capital Markets. Tony joined Zions in February 2023 to oversee the strategic build-out and expansion of the bank's Interest Rate Risk Management, Foreign Exchange, and Commodities sales and trading businesses.
Prior to joining Zions, Tony served as Managing Director and Head of Global Markets at Citizens Bank in Boston, MA, where he spearheaded the expansion of the Interest Rate Products, Foreign Exchange, and Commodities businesses while managing a team of 42 sales and trading professionals. He previously held the role of Senior Vice President and Head of Derivatives and Foreign Exchange trading at MUFG/Union Bank, where he built the Derivatives Trading business and expanded the firm’s foreign exchange trading operations. Tony also served as Managing Director and Head of Rates Trading at SunTrust Bank (now Truist), overseeing Rates and Repo trading desks alongside a newly built Derivatives platform.
Tony began his career as a Fixed Income Derivatives Trader at First Union National Bank (now Wells Fargo), where he managed taxable and tax-exempt interest rate derivatives client portfolios. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
