David Auerbach
Managing Director, Head of Real Estate Capital Markets
David Auerbach is the Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Capital Markets at Zions Capital Markets. With over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate finance and capital markets, David oversees all real estate capital markets activities across the firm. He joined Zions in October 2021 specifically to establish, build out, and lead the bank's commercial real estate conduit lending and subsequent securitization platform.
Prior to launching the platform at Zions, David was a founding member of Archetype Mortgage Capital, a conduit loan origination platform within LNR Property. Following Starwood Property Trust’s (NYSE: STWD) acquisition of LNR Property in 2013, the platform successfully transitioned to become Starwood Mortgage Capital.
Earlier in his career, David held various senior positions in commercial real estate finance and originations, including key roles at Wachovia Securities and Deutsche Bank. He holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Florida International University.
